After a classic meet cute—brunch with friends and more than a few mimosas—Nicole Patton of Barrington, RI and Brayden Minahan of Duxbury, MA bonded over their coastal upbringings and mutual love of seafood on their first date at the South End’s B&G Oysters.

Some of the young couple’s favorite memories were made in picturesque Franconia, NH at Nicole’s family home. Many a weekend was spent there hiking, skiing and enjoying all that the natural beauty that the small New England town has to offer, so when it was time to tie the knot, they couldn’t imagine doing it anywhere else.

On a perfectly sunny day in late August, Nicole dressed in a strapless, A-line Mira Zwillinger gown, met Brayden at the altar of a small stone chapel wrapped in elegant white blooms courtesy of Kerianne Nelson Flora. After the I dos, the festivities commenced with the help of Mavinhouse Events, on the sweeping lawn of the bride’s family home. First a cocktail hour and then a seated dinner under a tent—the rolling mountains as a scenic backdrop for the agrestic-chic evening.

The tablescapes were just as pretty as the view. Long harvest tables draped in green and white plaid tablecloths were accented with floral china; etched crystal glassware; blue and green tapers in mismatched holders; and dahlia, mini daisies, cosmos, goldenrod and larkspur centerpieces.
