NEDC – We are Architects who Build.
At New England Design and Construction, we intentionally design and craft sustainable luxury homes to increase owner health, happiness and wellbeing.
I established NEDC in 2005 after graduating from Tufts Architectural. My vision was a company that would honor the legacy of the Architect as Master Builder by offering both architectural design and artisan build as a single service.
My intention has been to help heal an industry riddled with client dissatisfaction.
We are a team of 20 or so architects, interior designers, and artisan builders.
Our motto is Lifting Spirits with Spaces.
We embrace sustainable design, natural materials and the ample use of natural light in our creations.

There are many quality companies in the Boston area and a number of ways to approach a home remodel. Architects, Interior Designers and General Contractors can all be hired separately, leaving the client to manage them. Some clients may desire this. Others may find it intensely stressful and more work than they wish to take on.
The value we create with your home is generational, throughout time tending to accrue value and exceed all initial client investment.
We offer all services on a single platform – from conceptual design through artisan build. This leaves you free to live your life while your dream home is being created.
We have clients across Boston’s Metrowest, Wellesley, Wayland, Brookline, Newton, Lexington, Somerville, Cambridge, Back Bay, Beacon Hill and the South End.
We offer and uphold a three-year warranty on all work we do.
Our client relationships are for life. Our clients become our friends, and we are honored to play this part in improving their lives and the lives and futures of their families.
We will often do multiple projects for the same initial clients as their lives expand. We’ll work on more than one of their homes. We see their children grow up and their families flourish and expand. It’s meaningful to us.

“NEDC did a gut renovation of our house.
The process with them was amazing from start to finish.
From our first meeting with the president, Dave Supple, who inspected all corners of house and talked about our goals, to the wrap-up of the punch list with the project manager and lead designer, everything went exceedingly well.
The process began with a series of broad design options and price ranges, then settled to one primary design during which we refined all the details and finalize the budget; then we moved onto all the material, appliance and finish selections, which is also done hand-in-hand with NEDC's designers.
Once construction began, we had a weekly meeting with the project manager to discuss what had been done the prior week and what was coming. This allowed for timely course correction. The project was completed on time - maybe even a bit ahead of schedule, I don't remember, despite some COVID permitting setbacks - and at the budget that was set at the end of the design process.
