Opening just in time for Oktoberfest, the Beer Garden at W Boston will serve up local beers from Dorchester Brewing Company through the spring, in addition to offering an in-room tasting experience.
Oktoberfest is right around the corner, and this year, W Boston has the festivities covered. In partnership with Dorchester Brewing Company, or DBco, the hotel is launching their new Beer Garden at W Boston and an in-room beer tasting experience on Friday, Oct. 8.
“From room packages including your very own branded beer stein, to a specialty brew made just for W Boston and a custom curated in-room tasting ‘flight,’ the Beer Garden at W Boston is the perfect place to unwind with friends and coworkers this fall and through next spring,” says Gurkirat Singh, the General Manager at W Boston.
The indoor, street-level beer garden will exclusively offer a rotating menu of DBco craft beers on draft through their 10-tap draft system with Belgian control faucets. Together with DBco, the hotel’s team also created a menu of specialty craft beer-infused cocktails featuring their beers, ciders, seltzers and sours.
During Oktoberfest, the Beer Garden at W Boston will transport their customers to Munich by extending their bill of fare to traditional German favorites. Expect seasonal ciders, a Pumpkin stout and German beers, such as Kölsch and Dunkel. To pair perfectly with the sips, the beer garden also developed a menu of tasty bites like bratwursts, pretzels with beer-infused cheese and braised beef sliders.
For those hoping to enjoy craft beers from the comfort of their room, order a flight of DBco beers to the door or grab a can from the mini bar. In-room libations will include DBco’s Neponset Gold, Galaxy Lights, Light Year Journey and their seasonal, rotating sour. No matter the experience W Boston visitors choose, they will certainly feel Oktober-festive.
“Along with expanding the W guests’ beer horizons, we're excited their guests and local community can experience a splash of Dorchester without leaving the hotel,” says Matt Malloy, CEO and Co-Founder of DBco. 100 Stuart St., 617.261.8700, marriott.com
