The world of fashion continues to feel Virgil Abloh’s legacy. Now, the world of beauty will know his touch, too.
The late American designer and entrepreneur’s personal brand Off-White steps out of the streetwear game and into the world of fragrances, nail polish and more with Paperwork; its first beauty collection.

Abloh himself chose the name, defining Paperwork as “another canvas, another surface for human expression,” according to a press release. The line is genderless and intended to inspire inclusivity across all aspects of life, from age to ethnicity and beyond.
Having celebrated its official launch on Wednesday, April 20, Paperwork’s inaugural collection includes four fragrances by the name Solution, six face and body solid pigment crayons called Imprint, and six nail polishes titled Color Matter.
The Solution fragrance line includes a mix of moods. Solution No. 1 is for everyday wear, characterized by wood, sand accord and patchouli. Solution No. 2 is a bright fragrance with notes of tangerine leaves, orange blossom and vetiver.
For a more romantic style, Solution No. 3 captures the scent of pink peppercorn, rose damascena and ambrette liquid, while Solution No. 4 blends eucalyptus, lavender and black leather for a deep yet refreshing scent.
The Imprint face and body crayons take inspiration from Abloh’s street tagging background. They’re formulated to be waterproof and smudgeproof, but are designed to be easy to remove. Imprint is available in red, black, brown, lime, indigo and glauque.
Finishing out the Paperwork freshman class comes the Color Matter nail polishes in translucent fuschia, opaque electric blue and opaque army green; all designed with long-lasting and deep matte finishes. Color Matter also includes a luminescent, multicolored glitter polish, a quick-drying top coat and a clear shellac.
Abloh passed away in November of 2021 after a private battle with cancer. Off-White was acquired by LVHM in just a few months before, the same parent company that heads Louis Vuitton where Abloh served as creative director for some years.
