Sips with a Somm
Take your vino game up a level with this rose-themed wine at Boston Chops. On Saturday, Advanced Sommelier Nick Daddona will host a Sips with a Somm event at the South End location, featuring eight rosé wines from across the globe as well as three tasty bites. OddFellows Ice Cream Co.
The beloved Brooklyn ice cream makers are finally bringing their sweet treats to Boston. The first Oddfellows Ice Cream Co. location in Massachusetts will open its doors at The Street Chestnut Hill beginning on Friday. In honor of the opening, a limited-edition basil chip flavor created in collaboration with Fox & the Knife chef Karen Akunowicz will be available as part of the “Boston’s Best x OddFellows” chef series. Bowl2CureJM Fun-raiser
Hit the lanes and help out a good cause this weekend. A special fundraiser will take place at Kings Dining & Entertainment’s Burlington location on Sunday in honor of Liam Hugo Ryan. The 5-year-old Lexington native is being treated for Juvenile Myositis, a life-threatening autoimmune disease, and created the Bowl2CureJM Fun-raiser, along with his family, to help raise funds for the Cure JM Foundation. During Sunday's event, Ryan will also receive a surprise phone call from noneother than Mickey Mouse, who will reveal that Ryan's Make-A-Wish wish to visitDisney World has been granted. Nelly at The Grand
After bringing the heat to the Xfinity Center with TLC and Flo Rida, Nelly plans to get hot in here at The Grand. The hip-hop star has a special after party planned for the Seaport hotspot following his big concert on Sunday night. Boston Pops on Nantucket
Enjoy the sounds of the Boston Pops on a scenic, island locale this weekend. Conductor Keith Lockhart and the famed orchestra will be back on Nantucket for a Saturday night show in support of Nantucket Cottage Hospital.
