Seasonality and Seasons bring a new experience

The Farm at Woods Hill, under the expert care of lead farmer Justin Smith, is a thriving hub of organic agriculture. The farm raises a variety of animals, including cows, pigs, laying hens, and lambs, all of which are pasture-raised to promote animal health and environmental sustainability. Additionally, the farm cultivates a diverse array of produce such as blueberries, garlic, pumpkins, and apples. The farm has been practicing organic farming since its inception. At Woods Hill Pier 4, the philosophy is clear: to have the best control over quality and environmental impact, the team must understand the entire process from seed to plate and birth to slaughter. This comprehensive approach ensures that the food served is healthier, cleaner, and more nourishing for guests. By owning and managing their own organic farm, Woods Hill guarantees the highest standards while supporting local farmers. This collaboration is essential during New England’s short and unpredictable growing season, complementing what is grown and raised on their own farm. With the changing seasons and seasonality, our customers can always expect a new experience.
