Peregrine Brings a Taste of the Mediterranean to Beacon Hill

By Lisa Pierpont By Lisa Pierpont | August 22, 2019 | Food & Drink,

Beacon Hill’s cobblestone streets don’t look much like the sparkling waters of Le Bombarde beach in Sardinia, but the island’s signature dishes are twinning at Peregrine, the new restaurant in The Whitney Hotel. Seafood paella, herb and garlic baked oysters, black pepper and truffle tagliatelle alla vongole are some of the Sardinian- and Sicilianinspired staples that customers can expect for dinner, although the spot is open for breakfast, brunch and lunch as well. The eatery serves as the second restaurant from Joshua Lewin and Katrina Jazayeri, the pair behind award-winning Juliet. The space features a cozy fireplace, sink-into-me couches, reclaimed wood floors in the dining room and a wraparound bar—an awesome way to relax. And no bikini required. 170 Charles St., 617.826.1762, peregrineboston.com
