These gents have style in spades. A closer look reveals the personalities behind all that panache.
ANTHONY TJAN
From a family who fled persecution in Indonesia to a Harvard graduate to a successful entrepreneur, Anthony Tjan is the epitome of the long-idealized American dream. As one of the cofounders of homegrown nail salon MiniLuxe, Tjan works to improve the nail industry and dismantle barriers to entry as the Chairman and Managing Partner of Cue Ball, a private investment firm based in Boston which has committed more than 50% of its capital to women-led, inclusionary ventures. He’s also an advocate for men to embrace a masculinity that celebrates self-expression, particularly through colored nails.

The Emmy award-winning journalist and host at NBC10 Boston isn’t the typical anchorman. Bradford is playful, warm and approachable. Watching him deliver the news feels like catching up with an old friend. He eschews stuffy suits for a more laid-back, sophisticated style with a contemporary millennial twist. His signature frames make him a stand out in the crowd and his easy smile makes all of us look forward to watching the news.

MATTHEW BULLOCK
He worked as a chef for a decade in some of Boston’s most respected kitchens before carving out his own unique culinary style. It was at Forage, under the tutelage of chef Eric Cooper and owner Stan Hilbert, that he started a pop-up dinner series called the Southern Pines Supper Club, turning out his own dishes at the restaurant on the last Sunday of every month. Word spread and the seats filled with diners eager to try Bullock’s take on Southern traditions. In June of 2023, Bullock opened the Southern Pines Diner Car, a sandwich shop concept that takes his roots, tested techniques and individual flair to create craveworthy sandwiches like the Beware of the Rougaroux which features spiced, roasted chicken thighs, American cheese, coleslaw Rougarous Juice mayonnaise and bread and butter pickles on Hi-Rise Challah.

TYLAW
The former football cornerback proves that stepping off the field doesn’t mean stepping back. For 15 seasons, he played primarily with the New England Patriots, where he was a three-time Super Bowl winner. He also holds the franchise record for interceptions and in 2019 he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. In the years since he’s hung up his helmet, this athlete has been anything but retired. He’s a part owner of the Launch Family Entertainment trampoline parks which has over 20 locations across the country. And now he’s jumping into the world of spirits with the recently launched Crovus Vodka, which donates a portion of its proceeds to the Hall of Fame assistance fund.
