On January 11, 2018 The Cam Neely Foundation for Cancer Care celebrated the opening of the Marlene Neely Center for Digestive Health. This comprehensive, state-of-the-art facility focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of gastrointestinal illness at Tufts Medical Center. The Center is named in memory of NHL Hockey Hall of Famer Cam Neely’s mother, Marlene, who lost her battle with colon cancer in late 1987. In attendance were Dr. Joel Weinstock and Dr. Urban of Tufts Medical Center, Cam and Paulina Neely, their family, and members of the Boston Bruins.
