LOEWE lands at Copley Place. The new boutique is just as striking as the brand’s designs.
Nothing compares to shopping your favorite designers in person—gliding your hands across the leather, feeling the structure of true craftsmanship and experiencing the designer’s vision in a boutique’s every detail. Jonathan Anderson’s LOEWE (loewe.com) is a perfect example, and finally, Bostonians can experience the brand firsthand at their nearly 2,000-square-foot Copley Place (copleyplace.com) storefront. Inside the rose, green and silver-hued space, a gallery of women’s ready-to-wear, bags, shoes, eyewear, small leather goods, accessories and perfumes awaits your perusal. Visual art compliments the wearable art, creating a dreamy experience for fashionistas as their eyes dart from the squeeze to the puzzle bag: think vases from Texan potter Janet Leach, a painting by German-based artist Behrang Karimi and five bespoke wool rugs displaying reproductions of British textile artist John Allen’s “Purple Road Lake.” Contrasting the soft palette are marble, oak and concrete accents, felt Utrecht armchairs, a puffer-inspired leather bench and iron martini tables. We know where the fashion girlies will be this fall.
