Serving as a Boston staple for good food, good music, and most importantly, good wine, Les Zygomates celebrates 25 years since opening its doors in 1994.
Owner, Mark Tosi, presents wine tastings, live entertainment, and a special small plated dining menu to commemorate the special occasion. Lorenzo Savona, the former owner of Les Zygomates, will personally host the upcoming wine tastings, showcasing fabulous and decadent wines from his favorite Parisian spots. Savona will kick off the wine tasting series on August 7, with a preview event of bubbly to sweet wines. September 11 marks the official start of the series with wines from the Loire Valley. On October 9, Savona will present an array of pinot noirs from different regions, and will do the same with Chardonnay on October 23. The November 6 wine tasting will explore all the Bordeaux region has to offer and November 27 celebrates the end of the series with none other than: Champagne! Since wine and jazz make a perfect pairing, Les Zygomates will entertain a Monday night Americana repertoire so guests can enjoy drinks and dancing. These festivities will include performances from Michael Tarbox and Alastair Moock Duo. The celebration doesn’t stop there, newly appointed executive chef, Guara Pimenta, introduced a new, globally-inspired menu of small plates on Monday, July 23. And throughout the week, try the spot's herb-marinated lamb lollipops, fried polenta with puttanesca sauce, or Mediterranean olives with chili flake and rosemary. Clearly, it’s time to make a reservation and join in on Les Zygomates quarter century of fun. Les Zygomates, Leather District at 129 South St., 617-542-5108
