A Pinch of Ginger at Sumiao Hunan Kitchen

More than hundred foodies and supporters of the medical community gathered at Sumiao Hunan Kitchen in Kendall Square on March 25, 2017. The Joslin Diabetes Center’s Asian American Diabetes Initiative hosted a deathly brunch event, A Pinch of Ginger to benefit the organization. Guests enjoyed specialty ginger-themed cocktails along with a variety of tasty, diabetes-friendly dishes from Sumiao Hunan Kitchen, Feng Shui, BLR by Shojo, and China Pearl. The afternoon raised more than $4,000 for Joslin’s AADI.
