The Home Alone house in the north suburbs of Chicago are available to one lucky group for a one-night stay Sunday, Dec. 12. It'll only cost $25 for the night, and booking opens Dec. 7 at 11 am PT.

In case one doesn’t recall, the timeless holiday classic features a young Macaulay Culkin as nine-year-old Kevin who, after being left behind by his family for a Christmas vacation, tries to defend his home from a pair of bumbling burglars only to be reunited with his family before the big day.

A new sequel dubbed Home Sweet Home Alone is now streaming on Disney+, and the listing is offered by Disney in celebration. Kevin’s older brother Buzz, played by Devin D. Ratray in both the original film and its latest sequel, is the proposed owner of the home running the Airbnb listing.
“Though we’re older and wiser now (I’ve even got my own security firm), we’re never too old for holiday hijinks,” Buzz writes in the official listing description. “So while we’re away on vacation (all of us, this time), I’m inviting one crew of mischief makers to let their inner eight-year-olds run free in my childhood home."
The house comes complete with almost everything a fan could want, including junk food and Kraft macaroni and cheese, a fully trimmed Christmas tree, and other fun holiday offerings.
While guests won’t have to worry about defending the home from Joe Pesci, there are plenty of nods to the movie scattered throughout the scene. A “battle plan” is offered upon arrival, showing plenty of spots to hang and dispel booby traps—including cans filled with paint above the main staircase—as well as a luxurious bathrobe and aftershave to be used at the renter’s discretion.
The home also features portraits of the famous family scattered throughout the home, as well as a pet tarantula.

“It’s a holiday wish come true: a cozy holiday scene with twinkling lights and a perfectly trimmed tree awaits you at the McCallister “castle,'” the listing reads. “This holiday season, we’re playing by my little bro’s rules, so feel free to eat junk food, watch rubbish on TV, borrow my dad’s aftershave and choose your own adventure with a legendary battle plan as a guide. Just stay out of my room, okay?”
While this will be a hot commodity stay for any holiday Hollywood fan, Airbnb has been quick to explain this is not a contest nor an auction. In addition, the company also announced that in spirit of the season, they will be donating to La Rabida Children’s Hospital in Chicago, another ongoing trend to donate to local charities.
