Raúl de Nieves: The Treasure House of Memory
Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Art is presenting the solo exhibition of Raúl de Nieves, a New Yorkbased multimedia artist who creates everything from large-scale and figurative sculptures to ornamental shoes and garments to narrative paintings. Drawing inspiration from traditional Mexican culture, religion and mythology, de Nieves’ exhibit explores the themes of personal transformation and memory.
