Craving: A cocktail pairing
Alcove
Owner Tom Schlesinger-Guidelli doesn’t just know how to run a restaurant, he understands the art of hospitality, a craft he honed by working in the industry’s most respected dining rooms before opening his own. So it makes sense that in addition to offering the full menu for delivery, Schlesinger is also offering cocktail mixes and fixings for popular drinks like gimlets and daiquiris. All you have to add is the booze and the glass. Daily from noon to 8 p.m., 50 Lovejoy Wharf, 617.248.0050
Craving: A perfect burger

Craving: A farm fresh meal and a unique bottle of wine
Forage
If this farm-to-table restaurant is your neighborhood spot, you’re in luck, because diners who live within about a mile and a half radius can request delivery. Craving: Homemade pasta
Fox & the Knife
The Italian restaurant from Top Chef contestant and James Beard winner Karen Aukunowicz has only been open a year so securing a table on any night of the week used to be a challenge. Enjoy her award-winning food without the wait times by ordering from the daily delivery menu, updated on the restaurant’s Instagram. Or, if her fresh pasta is really what you’re craving, head to Fox Pasta’s Instagram to order your choice of noodle and sauce. You can also grab charcuterie to start and cake for dessert. Craving: Comfort Italian food
Nico, Rina’s, Strega
Chances are you’ve been to at least one of Nick Varano’s Italian restaurants. If you miss the bolognese at Strega, carbonara from Nico or a slice from Rina’s Pizzeria, no fears, all can be delivered right to your door. Hours vary so check the restaurant’s websites before ordering.
Craving: A lobster roll
Saltie Girl
Sometimes the best way to get through the cold weather is to turn up the heat, order some lobster rolls and pretend it’s summer. Thankfully, this adorable seafood restaurant is offering a large selection from the menu for delivery. Might as well stock up on some of their tinned fish for your next faux oceanside feast. Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m., 281 Dartmouth St., 617.267.0691
Craving: Pizza
The Salty Pig
Some nights simply call for ‘za. But that doesn’t have to mean a subpar pie now that the Salty Pig is delivering. Order up a couple of their crave-worthy stone-grilled pizzas, and throw in a fresh salad and hand-made pasta too. Having too much food won’t be a problem because sometimes the best thing about pizza for dinner is pizza for breakfast. Thursday through Sunday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., 130 Dartmouth St., 617.536.6200
Craving: A juicy steak
Mistral
Whip out a starched tablecloth and the good china, light some candles and slip into cocktail attire. Both you and your table will want to be all dressed up when Mistral's signature grilled tenderloin with vin rouge, roasted asparagus and horseradish whipped potatoes arrive. Order any of your other favorite meals from the Columbus Hospitality Group's composition of classic dishes delivery menu featuring star appearances from Teatro, Sorellina, L'Andana, Ostra and Bar Lyon. If you're in the city proper, you can take advantage of the group's in-house Butler Service. The menu can be found on all the restaurant's individual websites.
