If you ever drive on route 9 in Brookline, you may have caught an enormous line snaking around the block at the corner of Cypress Street. That would be the cult-following of customers (and 18K Instagram followers at @sizerunsupply) that Rod Rosales has amassed for his cutting edge, high end streetwear boutique, S/ZERUN SUPPLY. Sometimes, these folks are waiting for a one-of-a-kind “drop” of merchandise (Supreme! Gosha! Bianca!). Other times, they’re there to meet an international music artist or athlete. Rosales knows what kids—and their parents—want.
The Lineage: As a kid growing up in Southern California, I skated all over Los Angeles, Surfed, BMX’ed and got into DJing as a teen, but, I really loved art and fashion. I later became a director of a major action sports brand where I designed and created collections for athletes, musicians, artists and celebrities.
The Vision: I’m continually curating the shop with rare and unique collectible apparel, shoes, accessories and art. S/ZERUN SUPPLY has a reputation for being authentic, inclusive and knowledgeable about the history/story of each piece we carry. We’re a destination store for New Englanders and international clients alike.
The Crowd: My clients include working with musician Playboi Carti, Turnstile, Boston Celtics’ Jaylen Brown, Chicago Bulls’ Wayne Selden, as well as a strong community of streetwear enthusiasts, skaters, musicians, artists, writers and entrepreneurs. I love consulting, collaborations, and providing our shop to help launch emerging brands.
