Find one photographer’s luxurious, summer daydream at Nantucket’s CRU Beach, but only for a little while longer.
For the last two Sundays of July, retreat to this picturesque collaboration between CRU Beach and LA-based photographer Gray Malin. From surf boards to raised lifeguard chairs, the jovial yet refined patio feels like one of Malin’s beach club photographs brought to life. Located in the Nantucket Downtown Historic District, the oyster bar’s space welcomes guests to sip cocktails on wooden benches topped with plush navy cushions under blue striped umbrellas or reclined beach chairs. While overlooking the Sound, sway to tunes from the elevated DJ booth and munch on bites like oysters and caviar, or grilled Nantucket Sound squid with gigante beans, baby arugula and olive oil.
