SEN-1 Catalog Release
“For us... it was life, it was our culture. We believed we could die the next day and it was about leaving our stamp behind, our mark.” – SEN-1
As a part of Galerie d’Orsay’s fall 2022 exhibition, ‘Collecting YOU | Distinctly Curated. Uniquely YOU.’ , Galerie d’Orsay and legendary graffiti master, SEN-1, are thrilled to release a collaborative catalog: ‘SEN-1: An Urban Love Story.’ This catalog traces SEN-1’s story back to his youth growing up in New York at the birth of the hip hop movement, breakdancing, and ‘Wildstyle’ graffiti. From tagging the side of the 1 Train to designing custom Converse for former First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign, join us in celebrating a true master of graffiti writing.
