As the design world embraces all things organic, luxury fittings brand Brizo unveils the most of-the-moment drop you may see this season: the Frank Lloyd Wright Bath Collection by Brizo.
Falling water, indeed: With everything from an elegant floor-mount tub filler to a Raincan showerhead with integrated lighting, Brizo brings the spirit of Frank Lloyd Wright to the bath.
Influenced by the legendary architect’s nature-inspired designs and created in collaboration with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, the series of 15 items includes a widespread lavatory faucet featuring a unique Fallingwater-esque side spout; an elegant, almost birdlike floor-mount tub filler; and, rounding out the collection, perfectly complementary towel racks and drawer pulls. Available in six finishes (including a stunning mix of Guyana teak and nickel), each is designed to be an expression of Wright’s six key principles of organic architecture: belonging, simplicity, individuality, palette, substance and integrity. Says Judd Lord, Brizo’s senior director of industrial design, “I’ve admired Frank Lloyd Wright’s iconic vision throughout the span of my career, so working on a Brizo collection and paying homage to his enduring legacy has been a huge privilege. This was not a matter of simply drawing inspiration from one particular Frank Lloyd Wright home or design—it was a chance to reflect on Wright’s extensive career and translate his overall philosophies into a collection people can bring into their homes to elevate their daily lives.”
