A Boston couple with a wedding season: think an August ceremony and November reception.
Boston | Nov 4., 2023
Danielle & Aaron
THEIR FIRST DATE WAS ON St. Patrick’s Day in 2019. The night started at the Ritz-Carlton’s Artisan Bistro and ended in Aaron’s apartment with the Bostonian’s dancing to Kygo on his coffee table— little did they know that a mere four years later they would walk down the aisle together as a violin softly played Kygo’s “Firestone.” Aaron proposed to Danielle following a dinner at Contessa on Nov. 19, 2022 where the couple’s engagement was then celebrated on the anniversary of their first date. With the help of planner Nicole Simeral & Co., they celebrated their union in two parts: first, an intimate Nantucket ceremony in late summer and then a showstopper reception in November of the same year at JFK Library.
The ceremony at picturesque Green Market Farm—described by the bride as magical—took place on a rainy summer night, candles lit all throughout the home, and was shared with a small group of those closest to Danielle and Aaron.
Him in Tom Ford, her in Kim Kassas—the Anastasia dress—as well as a lace appliqued Berta number. Danielle and Aaron certainly celebrated in a style that was spectacularly all their own.
“Our wedding reception was an invitation to friends and family to experience the place we fell in love in,” says Danielle. “Every detail was paying homage to the places we visited, and will continue to visit yearly on that weekend.”
Highlights from their evening in the library included a clawfoot champagne “bubble bath” and caviar cart at the cocktail hour; a solo saxophone player; lavish orchid centerpieces from Winston’s; a costume closet—an ode to one of their favorite places in Saint Barths, Le Ti; and an installation by light artist Olivia Steele that doubled as Danielle’s gift to Aaron. In return, the bride received a diamond and emerald Oscar Heyman necklace—the emerald to represent her birthstone and new title as Mrs. Green.
The couple honeymooned in Cape Town, South Africa at The Silo Hotel; Singita Boulders Lodge at Sabi Sand Nature Reserve; and London at Claridge’s. They now reside in Seaport with their mini dachshund, Fettuccine, and are currently planning a one year reception anniversary party “because not only was it the most fun night of our lives,” says Danielle. “But our wedding guests are still talking about how it was the best night of their lives.”
