With the 125th Boston Marathon right around the corner, restaurants around the city are looking to lure runners and specators alike with divine specials.
Boston eateries and bars are eager for guests to enjoy great food and drinks while watching the marathon unfold. If you're looking to get in on the fun Monday, Oct. 11, check our roundup of marathon specials below.

314 Newbury St. / Website
Located near the finish line, this Parisian-inspired bistro founded by Chef Michael Serpa features a European vibe. On Monday, the restaurant will open early, offering a Marathon Monday menu for two. Purchase a ticket to have a reserved table, a three-course meal and two beverage tickets. Enjoy your choice of two apperitzers or vegetables, bavette, mussels or an entree of fish and two drinks for $100 per person. Be sure to check out the steak frites, as that’s Serpa’s specialty.

Located in Back Bay with a view of the finish line, this French-inspired restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as snacks, amazing cocktails and wines. On Marathon Monday, Rochambeau will begin brunch at 10 a.m. with seating on a first-come, first-serve basis. Think Parisian elegance paired with gourmet, rich bites and inventive sips. Try the decadent duck confit hash or savor the steaming hot Chocolat, a drink with Pernod, Amaro and fresh whipped cream that is sure to keep spectators warm as the marathoners race down Boylston.
50 Dalton St. / Website
Founded in 2003 and located very close to the finish line, Kings Back Bay offers the total entertainment experience with food, drinks and fun activities. On Marathon Monday, grab a pair of bowling shoes and enjoy a day of all-you-can bowling, gaming, pizza and soda $26.20 per person. Located one tenth of a mile from the finish line, customers can watch as competitors speed by, or stay glued to one of the TVs.

Located in Back Bay and close to the finish line, this New American classic features menus for lunch, dinner and brunch, as well as drinks and cocktails. There will be carb-loading specials served Friday through Sunday as well as Marathon Monday, with plans to open at 8 a.m. Seating will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis with no reservations. Wake up early, grab your friends and savor plates like the monte cristo or strawberry pancakes.

Early risers are welcome at this sidewalk cafe, beloved for its seasonal dishes and nightly specials for more than 25 years. Come for brick-oven pizzas and focaccia, stay for a signature martini at the mahogany bar. Sonsie opens daily at 8 a.m., and seating will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Order mouth-watering brunch bites like bananas foster french toast with a caramel rum sauce, or stop by for lunch to taste the Alla Nduja, a spicy pork dish from Southern Italy. Do not forget to order a glass from their extensive wine list that features over 200 bottles of wine.

This unique restaurant and bar is located under the centerfield seats in Boston’s very own Fenway Park. It offers an amazing view of the baseball games, and allows customers to order stadium food and drinks. On Marathon Monday, the restaurant will open at 10 a.m. Stop by to listen to a live DJ, sip on a cold brew and enjoy the signature bleacher burger. Seating will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis with no reservations.

This two-floor sports bar and restaurant is located next to Fenway Park with private rooms for interactive gaming. The menu features great cocktails, beer, drinks, food and a special DJ night drink menu. Game On! will open at 9 a.m. on Marathon Monday and stream the race on more than 30 TV screens. A live DJ will keep the party going, and games throughout the restaurant invite viewers to show their competitive side. Customers can flaunt their baseball skills in the indoor batting cage or bite into an artisan pizza from Max & Leo’s.

Chow down at this popular Irish pub spot near the finish line as Lansdowne Pub opens early at 10 a.m. Pair your brunch with live music, grooving in your seat while enjoying American or Irish breakfasts, classic corned beef hash, bananas foster pancakes, hearty entree plates and more. Lansdowne Pub prides itself on being an authentic Irish pub, so bring an appetite for shepherd’s pie bites and Irish poutine. Located not too far from the finish line, customers will not miss out on any of the action.

This fan-favorite country bar will mark the marathon with an early brunch opening at 10 a.m. Loretta's also offers live music and an open mic from 7 to 10 p.m., but the real draw is the delectable southern brunch menu and delicious cocktails, served both outside and indoors for your comfort. Dine on biscuits and gravy for brunch, a hot chicken sandwich for dinner and lots of cocktails in between for a guaranteed great day.
