Join the city’s top athletes and philanthropists at the 2nd Annual soirée benefitting ALS.
Where will Rob Gronkowski, Patrice Bergeron and model Camille Kostek all be on the evening of September 21? The Captain’s Ball (bourquefamilyfoundation.org), which honors the legacy of Pete Frates and his inspirational fight against ALS. Hosted by NHL Hall of Famer Ray Bourque and his family’s foundation, the Bourque Family Foundation, this event aims to raise essential funds for ALS research through the Sean M. Healey & AMG Center for ALS at MGH and the Peter Frates Family Foundation.
For those lucky enough to secure a ticket to the black tie optional affair, the night will begin with a red carpet before guests are ushered inside Big Night Live. Shortly after, while enjoying sips from Don Julio, Tito’s Vodka and GH Mumm Champagne, emcee and famed sportscaster Sean McDonough will begin the speaking program—look forward to powerful words from Ray Bourque, a representative from the Sean M. Healey Center for ALS at MGH Nancy Frates, and Camille Kostek.
The soirée later heats up with live music from Beach Nights Band as well as live and silent auctions. Our favorite experience up for grabs? A trip to Vegas hosted by Ray Bourque, including a Bruins game, stay at MGM and golf. Put simply, you won’t want to miss this exclusive affair and the chance to raise money for a worthy cause. With 2022’s inaugural event raising $240,000, who knows what this year will bring?
