A sports entrepreneur and chef join forces to open the state’s largest indoor pickleball complex.BOSSE owners D.J. Bosse and Chris Coombs
Grab your paddles and get ready to pickle—this October, sports entrepreneur D.J. Bosse and award-winning chef Chris Coombs are opening BOSSE (bosse.net) in Natick. Not only does the space span 100,000 square feet with 21 courts for competitive play, leagues, lessons and private coaching, but it also offers an equally impressive culinary component. Post-game, picklers can stop by the courtside eatery or treat themselves to Parisian-inspired pastries from the all-day café, homemade pastas and artisanal pizzas from the rustic Italian restaurant or shareable New American dishes from the sports bar and lounge. In addition to play for everyone, BOSSE will also have membership tiers for additional offerings. Here, get all the insider deets from the co-owners themselves.
How did the idea for BOSSE come about?
The idea for Bosse emerged in 2022 amid the skyrocketing popularity of pickleball and our discovery of prime real estate in Natick, Mass. Recognizing the community’s passion for the sport and the demand for high-quality facilities, we envisioned a space that not only accommodates pickleball enthusiasts but also integrates exceptional dining and entertainment options. –DJB
