Rev up your engines for Audrain’s Newport Concours & Motor Week. Boston-raised comedy icon and car enthusiast Jay Leno serves as chairman for the festivities and will judge the Concours d’Elegance (Oct. 6), an awe-inspiring assembly of rare and vintage vehicles worth over a billion dollars.
The four days of fun also include a swanky garden party (Oct. 4) at Rough Point, the former home of heiress Doris Duke. Grammy Award winner John Legend will be in town that day as well for an intimate concert at the Concours Village stadium, preceded by a private reception for VIP ticket holders. Meanwhile, former Seinfeld star John O’Hurley will serve as master of ceremonies for the sold-out masquerade gala at The Breakers (Oct. 5), which features a performance by Kenny Loggins.
