Love is a many-splendored thing... if you do it right in Boston.
Diners at LUCIE Drink + Dine may enjoy their meal paired with various spirits and wines from the spacious 360-degree bar.
Valentine’s Day enthusiasts: Treat yourself and your loved one to two of the city’s newest hot spots this year. First, discover LUCIE Drink + Dine (120 Huntington Ave.), the trendy restaurant and bar that recently opened as part of The Colonnade Hotel’s top-to-bottom renovation. In addition to the hotel’s modern face-lift—which includes luxury hotel-room furniture, a modern color palette and an updated lobby gathering space—this new restaurant provides a big dose of romance this Valentine’s Day.
Led by renowned chef Michael Chandler of Grill 23 and Top of the Hub, LUCIE features familiar dishes with a twist, like king crab with brown butter, salmon a la plancha and a signature burger that offers a vegan option. There are also plenty of cocktails, wine and beer to choose from. Diners will enjoy their meal paired with gorgeous ambiance, including lush upholstery, a semienclosed lounge and a spacious 360-degree bar.
After dinner, a Valentine’s sweet treat is a must. We suggest Sukker & Sweet (43 Boylston St., Ste. 4320) at The Street Chestnut Hill, known for its selection of some of the best international confectionery. With chocolates from Denmark, gummies from Spain and Pink Lemonade Laces from the Netherlands, you and your date are sure to find a heart-shaped bonbon to keep your love alive.
