One of the most anticipated events on the Mass General Cancer Center calendar, Couture for Cancer Care brings caregivers and their patients together to showcase runway looks and celebrate survivorship and hope. This is the 27th year of the special event annually hosted by The Friends of the Mass General Cancer Center, a group of volunteers who raise funds to bridge exceptional medical and supportive cancer care through innovative programs that promote whole-person healing. These funds have supported initiatives such as the Katherine A. Gallagher Integrative Therapies Program, which provides integral wellness services including massage, acupuncture, and music and art therapy. Comics Come Home, America’s Longest Running Comedy Fundraiser, is back for its 25th year! Founded by Hockey Hall of Famer and Bruins President Cam Neely and actor/comedian Denis Leary, Comics Come Home has raised over $12 million since inception.
A-list comedians perform alongside new faces and local legends at TD Garden on November 9, all donating their time (and jokes) to a great cause. All proceeds from the annual show benefit The Cam Neely Foundation for Cancer Care which provides comfort, support and hope to adult and pediatric cancer patients and their families.
This year’s 25th Anniversary Event promises to live up to the show’s reputation for hilarious comedians and exciting guest appearances.
