The Museum of Science hosted their annual Stars of STEM Celebration on April 13, 2018, recognizing GE for it’s outstanding commitment to the Boston Community through the support of STEM education. The Stars of STEM Celebration supports the Museum of Science in its mission to make STEM education more accessible to everyone. Guests enjoyed cocktails, music, and appearances from very special guests such as Star Wars' C3PO, and a massive T Rex! The event is the Museum’s largest fundraising event of the year, raising $500K annually to supporting STEM education for exhibits, programming, and curricula. This year the event raised over $50,000 for the Museum’s Field Trip Fund, a critical initiative that helps support school groups from low-income communities enjoy field trips at the Museum.
